The wedding cake which is also another symbol of wedding occasions are also almost always decorated with ribbons which matches the wedding theme and color. If you want this for your wedding as well, you can ask the baker of the cake to do so. To give you an idea, the ribbon is usually attached to the bottoms of the wedding cake such that they circle the cake. Another common idea is to drape the ribbon around the wedding cake.
